Luxe Beauty Launch Party in Bed Stuyvesant on November 15th was like no other beauty and hair salon launch party. Created in the basement in a brownstone home by Luxe Beauty owners Crystal and daughter-in-law, Sharaya, this low-key, elegant, exclusive, “Uptown Manhattan look” salon and lounge had over 40 guests in attendance, feeling comfortable and relaxed with the DJ spinning classic R&B. Special guest, Jordan Tesfay (first black plus-size Cover Girl and Wilhelmina Model of Wilhelmina talent agency) came to support. The complimentary dessert and wine bar gave the guests a strong, fun taste of Koffi’s Jello Shots and Onli’s two all natural flavored chef inspired sparkling water (lemon watermelon and hibiscus-pomegranate-strawberry). Also, at the bar were white and red wine, mini cheesecake pies with a cookie crust and mixed fresh fruit. If you need a “pick me up” after the non-stop mingling, Monster zero calories energy drink and spring water was there for the rescue.
