Wendy’s Birthday Party

What a packed out event at The Out Hotel located in Hell’s Kitchen NYC area! VIP guests awaited for Wendy’s arrival while drinking SX Liquor cocktails. Hors D’oeuvres circled the VIP room with  mini triangle cheese sandwiches and chicken skewers placed in pineapple sections. While guests danced, networked, and laughed for an hour and a half, the DJ announced the queen of personality, Wendy Williams, as she entered the VIP room.  Cameras (professional and phones) squeezed its way to  catch at least one perfect picture. Staying in the VIP room for literally 5 minutes, Wendy’s husband lead her to the step and repeat for 106 & Park, E! and other media outlets to get their coverage. Once she left the VIP room, no more guarding non-VIP guests to enter the special room because she wasn’t going to enter back in there. She moved to the dance floor, the new VIP area to get the dancing, drinking and take pictures with fans.

Guests were burning up the dance floor with their moves. If you came by yourself, you was dancing with somebody.  DJ of the night, Lil Jon was not turning down for anything. He worked the guests with his wide variety of tunes – pop, house, hip hop, dance, funk.  Celebs came to say “how you doing!” to the birthday star, which were ( VH1’s Love & Hip Hop NY reality star) Erica Mena, (rapper/actor) Shad Moss formerly known as “Bow Wow”,  (actor) Marc Jefferies,  (actress) Danielle Brooks, and “The View” co-host) Sherri Shepherd.   Hors D’oeuvres, mini stuffed mushrooms and slices of two layer cake (pound and chocolate) were passed around in the VIP area by the dance floor.

Two go-go dancers, one on the left and right of the stage, sensually danced until the performances of the night were ready to hit the stage. By midnight, Chaka Khan performed “Aint nobody” and sang happy birthday. Wendy was screaming, hands in the hair with a huge smile. Her husband sprayed champagne all over her and onto the small crowd of guest facing their VIP area. Those who loved it, soaked it in, while others ran – LOL!  Artist, Too Short, introduced varies old school hip hop tunes and  really go the crowd singing, fist pumping, swaying and of course dancing! Oh what a fun night!

HAPPY 50TH BIRTHDAY WENDY WILLIAMS!! XOXO
